introduction to PLR        

PLRs are the PLCs, which are used for smaller applications.  They are less expensive than others and they can produce limited number of functions. Also the numbers of input and output ports are limited. But it is possible to increase the number of input and output ports by using expansion modules. Some PLR models have a small LCD on it to display the operation and programming. They can be programmed without PCs also. 24V DC external power supply is required to power them.
